Like Greener Grass and Wild Geese, Timber Wolf required a lot of research. I wanted to be sure I gave a true picture of life in the Canadian woods, the shanty, and the Algonquin winter camp. I've included a list of many of the novels, websites, textbooks and films that helped me create these places. As always, a museum is a great place to start.
